My Bio
Swimming has defined Andrew’s life for over two decades. With 22 years immersed in the water and a full decade spent competing at international competitions such as World Championships, Commonwealth Games, South American Games and the Olympic Games, Andrew doesn’t just teach swimming from the pool deck — he understands the sport from the inside out, from the biomechanics of every catch to the mental focus required to master the water.
Over the past 13 years, Andrew transitioned that athletic discipline into a global coaching career spanning three continents: South America, North America and Europe. Teaching across diverse cultures, pool environments and aquatic traditions taught him one foundational truth — there is no universal formula for swimming. His coaching style shifts effortlessly depending on who is in the water with him, bringing vibrant energy and patience to kids, grounded empathy to first-time adults facing their fears, and relentless technical precision to endurance athletes and triathletes.
Andrew’s coaching career is defined by transformative moments rather than routine laps. Among his proudest achievements was working with a young blind student, adapting sensory feedback and spatial awareness to guide them to complete independence in two full strokes alongside essential water safety skills. For Andrew, swimming isn’t just sport — it is freedom, safety and fun.
Backed by the internationally recognized STA Level 2 Award in Teaching Swimming, Andrew founded EasySwimLA to deliver private, attentive coaching rooted in genuine connection, technical mastery and zero guesswork.
